Sunflower Milk

  • 1 cup of raw sunflower
  • 2-3 cups of lukewarm, filtered water
  • 1-2 teaspoon of Himalayan salt (or sea salt)
  1. Soak sunflower in water and leave it overnight. 
  2. In the morning, filter it through a strainer and pour it into a blender. 
  3. Pour 2-3 cups of lukewarm water and ½ teaspoon of Himalayan or sea salt.
  4. Mix everything together until the foam forms on the surface of the milk.
  5. Filter the milk through a thick strainer or a filter bags for filtering nut milks and drink.
Recipe Notes:

* The remaining sunflower dregs can be used when preparing salad dressings or you can simply pour it over the sliced pieces of broccoli and eat for lunch.
