CHESTNUT PUREE WITH COCONUT SUGAR


1. Put chestnut in boiling water and cook for about 30 minutes.

2. On a wooden board, carefully cut the chestnut with a knife across the middle.

3. Using a small spoon, take the chestnut meat.

4. Transfer chestnuts to the food processor and mix for a few minutes.

5. Add lukewarm coconut-almond milk and mix for a few minutes.

6. Add coconut sugar and rum.
6. Decorate with coconut sugar.

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg chestnuts
  • 200 or 300 ml coconut-almond milk (I used about 200 ml)
  • 20 grams of coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of dark rum
Instructions:
  1. Put chestnut in boiling water and cook for about 30 minutes.

  2. On a wooden board, carefully cut the chestnut with a knife across the middle.

  4. Transfer chestnuts to the food processor and mix for a few minutes.
  5. Gradually add lukewarm coconut-almond milk and mix for a few minutes. (I used 200 ml coconut-almond milk).

  6. Add coconut sugar and rum.
  7. Decorate with coconut sugar.
