Ingredients:
  • 1 big onion
  • 1/2 cup of cashew milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground chilli
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 cup of ground linseed
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon
  • 1-2 teaspoons of sea salt for the mixture
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of ground garlic
Cold water for onion (mixed solution):
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
Instructions:
  1. Cut the onion into thin equal circles. Separate the circles. Remove the thin layer, if necessary.

Preparation for onion in cold water:
  1. Leave the onions in water for one or two hours. Dip in a mixed solution of 2 tablespoons of lemon, 2 tablespoons of salt and cold water, and pour over the onion until it is completely in water.

  2. Roll the onion circles in some Indian nut (cashew) milk, roll them in ground linseeds mixed with ground garlic, pepper, ground chilli and sea salt.
  3. Place the onion circles on a plate in a dehydrator.
  4. Dry them on the temperature of 40°C, leave them in a dehydrator for 6-7 hours, or until they get dry and crispy.
Recipe Notes:

* If you like less salty, you can add less salt and peppers.
